Tonga Sports Association & National Olympic Committee (TASANOC)

1.  Introduction & Background

TASANOC invites qualified contractors to submittenders for constructing a new perimeter fence around the Popua NationalPark beach volleyball court.

2.  Scope of Works

Contractor shall supplylabour, materials, tools, equipment, and services to complete the fenceconstruction as specified.

2.1  Fence Construction

• Height: 3 meters for all four walls (excluding barbed wire)

•  Fence Type: Heavy-duty chain-link mesh, galvanized

•  Steelgalvanized posts with concrete footing(minimum 600mm deep x 300 wide)

• Barbed Wire: 3 strandson top with angled brackets

•  BrickFoundation: 2–3 layersalong full perimeter, weather-resistant bricks

•  Chain-link secured to brick foundation

• Salt-resistant materials due to coastal location

2.2  Gates

• 1 Double Gate (vehicleaccess) and 1 Single Gate (pedestrian)

• Heavy-duty steel frame, welded hinges, galvanized locking system

•  Barbedwire extension included

2.3  Site Preparation

•  Clearing vegetation, removing oldfences, leveling ground around the perimeter of the existing volleyball court’s brick wall to a maximum depth of 150 mm, and wastedisposal.

2.4  Signs

• Directional or safetysignage as required.

3.  Location & Measurements

• Site: Popua National Park (Beach Volleyball Court)

• Dimensions: 34m x 40m

•  Perimeter: ~148m

4.  Contractor Requirements

•  Business license, companyprofile, 2–3 projectexperience, insurance, equipment list, references.

5.  Deliverables

• Completed fencewith gates, site cleaned, 12monthrepair or replace warranty.

6.  Tender Timeline

• Opens: 21 Nov2025

• Closes: 5 Dec 2025

•  Start:12 Dec 2025

•  Completion: 30 Jan 2026

8.  Pricing Structure

• Detailed BOQ, labour, materials, transport, total cost incl. taxes.

9.  Payment Terms

• 50% deposit, 30% mid-completion (50% of fence is up), 20% after final inspection.

10. Evaluation Criteria

• Compliance, price, experience, materialquality, timeline, references.

11. Conditions of Tender

• TASANOC may accept/reject any tender. Late submissions not accepted.

12. Warranty Requirements

• Minimum 12-month warranty on workmanship andmaterial integrity.
