Team Tonga proudly marched at the Pacific Mini Games Opening Ceremony in Palau, with Ti’o Fonohema carrying the flag—20 years after his historic gold medal win in Beach Volleyball.

Team Tonga was proudly represented at the Opening Ceremony of the Pacific Mini Games 2025 in Palau. It was a special moment as Ti’o Fonohema carried the national flag—20 years after he won gold in Beach Volleyball at the 2005 Palau Games. The team joined a vibrant parade of nations, celebrating unity and the spirit of sport. Malo Palau for the incredible hospitality and warm welcome.
